Core area

The core area is composed of the international airport industrial park of Zhongguancun Shunyi Park, Zhaoquanying Industrial Zone, Banqiao Comprehensive Service Area, Zhangxizhuang Comprehensive Service Area, etc., with a planned area of 20.5 square kilometers, creating a new ecological park for the agglomeration development of innovative industrial clusters.

Promote area

The upgraded zone is composed of Linhe Industrial Zone of Zhongguancun Shunyi Park, AVIC Industrial Park, Geographic Information Industrial Park, the industrial bases at Nanfaxin Town, Renhe Town, Nancai Town and other industrial bases and related comprehensive service areas, with a planned area of 40.0 square kilometers, to build an upgraded demonstration zone.

Expansion area

The expansion area is composed of the industrial bases at Beixiaoying and Yangzhen and related comprehensive service areas, with a planned area of 19.5 square kilometers. Take Baima Road and Chaobai River ecological zone as the connection line, drive the urbanization process of the Hedong area through industrial agglomeration, and realize the balanced and coordinated development of the east and west areas of Shunyi.

New energy intelligent vehicle industry cluster

Closely focus on "new energy, 5G communication, AI" and other elements, and drive intelligent connected vehicles to achieve integrated development of industrial chain, product chain, capital chain and ecological chain through new energy vehicles. The new energy vehicles, mainly led by Mercedes-Benz and Leading Ideal, drive the layout of the core links upstream and downstream, such as battery motor electronic control, and promote the transformation of Beijing Hyundai towards pure electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel vehicles. The intelligent connected vehicles, with 5G communication as its core, drive integration and innovation of industrial chains such as chips, smart hardware, cloud computing and high-precision maps, forming a collaborative intelligent ecology that integrates “vehicles, roads, clouds, networks and maps”. There have gathered five complete vehicle enterprises such as Shunyi Factory of Beijing Benz, Beijing Hyundai and Leading Ideal, nine R&D centers such as BAIC R&D headquarters and BMW R&D headquarters, and more than 120 auto parts enterprises such as BIT Huachuang and Gestamp.

The third generation semiconductor industry cluster

Driven by major application demands of, such as new energy vehicles, 5G communication and Energy Internet, actively break through core technologies of 8-inch materials, MOSFET device processing and key equipment, lead the development of domestic industry, promote the establishment of industrial ecology, realize the third generation semiconductor technology and industrial autonomy and control, and form a domestically leading and internationally first-class third generation semiconductor industry cluster area. There have gathered 21 entities such as Global Power Technology, WeEn Semiconductors and Guolian Wanzhong.

Aerospace industry cluster

Relying on the special project of aero-engine and industrial gas turbine and giving full play to the space carrying function of the 2,000-mu Beijing Aviation Industrial Park, promote the transformation and industrialization of more scientific and technological achievements of Aero Engine Academy of China and Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials in the park. Centering on the high-end links of aviation manufacturing, promote the industrialization of superalloy turbine blades, composite materials and avionics systems. Relying on the superior resources of Beijing Capital International Airport and the platform advantages of Beijing Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, vigorously develop high-tech services such as aviation maintenance, aerospace technology services, geographic information, Beidou navigation satellite system and satellite remote sensing. Accelerate the integration of military and civilian development in a number of private aerospace enterprises, such as HanFei Aero Technology. At present, there has gathered 14 aerospace enterprises above designated size, such as in the field of aircraft maintenance and aerospace vision.

The new generation of information technology

With the new generation of information technology to support the application upgrade of new-energy intelligent vehicles, third generation semiconductors, aerospace and intelligent manufacturing, and relying on the first mover advantage of top node of the Identification and REsolution System of Industrial Internet (Beijing) settled in Shunyi, we accelerate the cluster of industrial Internet bench-marking enterprises, build the national industrial Internet development hub, and speed up the industrial digitalization, networking and intelligent upgrading. Vigorously develop cloud computing and big data services, AI, industrial Internet, and 5G smart hardware and system services. At present, the national top node (Beijing) has accumulated more than 15 billion identification registrations, attracting key projects, such as Tencent, Inspurcloud, Huawei, and Xinghuo·Lianwang to be landed in Shunyi, and it was successfully approved as the national demonstration base for new industrial industry.

Medicine and health

According to the needs of medical clinical application, develop gene protein antibody drugs, new preparations and traditional Chinese medicine drug granules with independent intellectual property rights; focus on the development of high-end digital diagnosis and treatment equipment, such as medical imaging, radiotherapy and emergency medical devices, and promote the high-end development of medical materials, such as drug stents and dental materials. Relying on the industrial foundation of traditional Chinese medicine, medicine for children and chemical medicine, such as Hanmi Pharmaceutical, Kangrentang Pharmaceutical and Shouer Pharmaceutical, expand the market scale of traditional Chinese medicine formula granule and high-end Chinese medicine decoction pieces, promote innovative high-end pharmaceutical preparation innovation, and attract a number of pharmaceutical enterprises engaged in high-end drug research and development, technology transfer and transformation to settle in. Centering on Zhongguancun Medical Engineering Transformation Center, build a biotechnology research and development and industrialization base. Support the industrialization of stem cells in the fields of gene sequencing, cell therapy, molecular diagnosis, and cancer prevention by relying on the leading enterprises of MyGenostics and BioMarker. Relying on dominant enterprises such as LDK and WEGO Joint, promote the application of new materials and 3D printing technology in the medical equipment industry, and advance the development of telemedicine chips, artificial joints, soluble hemostatic fabrics, wearable medical devices and other products. At present, there has gathered more than 50 major pharmaceutical enterprises.

Intelligent equipment

In order to meet the needs of three hundred-billion-industries in Shunyi District and the city's sophisticated industries, focusing on key technical equipment, such as high-grade CNC machine tools, additive manufacturing, intelligent sensor control, intelligent detection and assembly, energy conservation and environmental protection, we drive technology research and system integration and promote the industrial application of system solutions. Further improve the system integration capability of high-end equipment, and promote the equipment manufacturing industry to expand to high-end links, such as research and development services. There have formed seven characteristic fields of aviation repair equipment, high-end NC equipment, intelligent sensing and control equipment, scientific instruments equipment, environmental protection equipment, electric power transmission equipment, and additive manufacturing equipment. The leading enterprises in various fields represented by aircraft maintenance, SMC, LabTec, and Beijing Precision Machinery & Engineering Research have a radiating role in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. At present, there has gathered 114 enterprises in intelligent equipment industry above the designated size.

Intelligent manufacturing

We will also prioritize the development of new energy intelligent automobiles, third-generation semiconductors, and the aerospace industry. Our approach involves the integration of advantageous resources and the implementation of collaborative innovation. This will be achieved through key industry research and development, breakthroughs in key technologies, and addressing the primary needs of manufacturing innovation and development. The initiative will establish enterprises as the primary drivers, adopt a market-oriented approach, and integrate government, industry, academia, and research to form a closely-knit manufacturing technology innovation system. By integrating advantageous resources and implementing collaborative innovation, we aim to cultivate a number of manufacturing innovation centers and technology innovation centers.

The Beijing Sino-German Economic and Technological Cooperation Demonstration Pilot Zone

The Beijing Sino-German Economic and Technological Cooperation Demonstration Pilot Zone was successfully approved in June 2021, being the first national cooperation zone with Germany themed on "economic and technological cooperation" in China, and an important carrier for Beijing to build itself into an international center of technological innovation and international exchange. Based on the advantages of Beijing, combining with the industrial base of Shunyi, and with advantageous German fields as the benchmarks, the demonstration pilot zone focuses on the development of new energy intelligent vehicles, intelligent equipment, digital economy, advanced manufacturing services and other key fields, has gathered 73 German-funded enterprises, such as Mercedes-Benz, Ameco and Wilo, and the annual total industrial output value of the German-funded enterprises in the zone has reached nearly RMB30 billion Yuan, and German senior executives and core engineers team has more than 100 people. A list of 25 inclusive and personalized policies has been formulated in seven areas, including open investment and trade, international talent flow and intellectual property protection.
