Beijing Science and Technology Enterprises Shine at the 66th International Craft and Technology Achievement Fair in Serbia

On May 21st, commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Administrative Commission Zhongguancun Science Park organized the "China Pavilion" at the 66th International Crafts and Technology Achievement Fair in Serbia, which opened at the Belgrade Expo.

Signing of Quadripartite Memorandum of Understanding

As one of the oldest industrial technology fairs in Central and Eastern Europe, the event attracted nearly 500 exhibitors and 18,000 participants from 27 countries. During the fair, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Administrative Commission Zhongguancun Science Park signed a quadrilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia, Zhongguancun Development Group (ZDG), and BIO4 d.o.o. Belgrade. Looking ahead, BIO4 Life Science Park and Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park will engage in practical cooperation in biomedicine and biotechnology, enhancing international development levels and facilitating stronger exchanges and cooperation between scientific and technological enterprises, academic institutes, and R&D centers from both regions.

Representatives of Some Chinese Exhibitors

The 400-square-meter "China Pavilion" featured four major exhibition areas: domestic space technology, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and automatic driving. Notably, twenty-two Chinese enterprises, including Shenzhen Huada Gene Science & Technology Co., Beijing Interstellar Glory Space Technology Co., Beijing Yunzhixun Technology Co., and Hubei Tianqin Biotechnology Co., showcased their innovations in artificial intelligence, the Internet, the Internet of Things, and big data analytics.

Space Technology Pavilion

In the space technology exhibition area, China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Corporation (CASC) highlighted the progress of cooperation on remote sensing satellites in aid of Serbia and presented information on China's major national space projects such as the Chinese space station and Chang'e-5 through satellite models. Moreover, CASC introduced the AIT facilities and joint training business, exemplified by the Egypt II satellite, thereby showcasing the comprehensive strength of China's aerospace industry.

Meanwhile, in the AI exhibition area, Beijing Ruilai Wisdom Technology Co., Ltd. displayed an AI version of the "invisibility cloak" and the generative AI content detection platform DeepReal. These exhibits revealed the intrinsic flaws and vulnerabilities of AI systems and provided solutions for the misuse and abuse of AI, helping the public better manage AI-related security risks. Additionally, Beijing Wansi Medical Technology Co., Ltd. showcased a high-precision minimally invasive vascular intervention robot, which is at the forefront of international technology. As China's first surgical robot product to enter the clinical stage, it has obtained the country's first NMPA registration certificate for the "cerebrovascular interventional surgical auxiliary operating system" (robot).

In the biomedical exhibition area, Shenzhen Huada Gene Science and Technology Co., Ltd. showcased models of the FireEye laboratory, the T20 sequencer, and DNA storage. From presenting a complete pathogen detection technology program and its standard system with the FireEye laboratory to setting a new record for single-machine throughput in gene sequencing with the T20 sequencer, the latest achievements in China's infectious disease control, virus detection, and gene sequencing industries were prominently displayed.

Automated Driving Zone

In the autonomous driving exhibition area, Beijing Zhixing Technology Co., Ltd. showcased "Snail XiaoBai VIGGO," the first brand in China to achieve mass production of unmanned cleaning vehicles. Since its introduction, this brand has been deployed in over 100 cities in China, serving more than 3,000 customers and cleaning hundreds of millions of square meters.
