As of now, the Beijing High-Level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone has completed the tasks of Phase 3 construction, covering an area of 600 square kilometers in the city. It has issued road test licenses to 34 testing vehicle companies and over 900 vehicles, with accumulated autonomous driving test mileage exceeding 34 million kilometers. Beijing E-Town has also released Several Policies to Promote the High-Quality Development of the Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry, attracting more than 120 intelligent connected vehicle enterprises. It has preliminarily formed an innovative ecosystem for the intelligent connected vehicle industry led by leading vehicle manufacturers and innovative companies. The intelligent connected vehicle industry chain covers various subfields such as vehicles, roads, clouds, networks, maps, data, and automotive chips.

Beijing E-Town continues to promote the innovative development of the pharmaceutical and health industry. It has released the plan for BioPark to attract multinational pharmaceutical enterprises such as Pfizer, Lilly, and Bayer to establish research and innovation centers. Six centers of the National Medical Products Administration are established in the area. A large number of innovative drugs and medical devices manufactured in Beijing E-Town have entered the market, benefiting patients worldwide.

Currently, Beijing E-Town has gathered nearly 400 integrated circuit enterprises covering the entire industry chain of integrated circuits, including design, manufacturing, testing, packaging, and equipment components. In 2024, the scale of the integrated circuit industry in the development zone exceeded 100 billion yuan ($13.65 billion) for the first time, with industrial output value surpassing 90 billion yuan and industry growth rate exceeding 43 percent, ranking first in the country.

As the permanent venue of the World Robot Conference, Beijing E-Town is accelerating the construction of a domestically leading and internationally advanced robot industry cluster. As of now, Beijing E-Town has more than a hundred robotic ecosystem enterprises, with over half of them being specialized and innovative enterprises. The output value is close to 10 billion yuan, accounting for 50 percent of the city's robot industry.

Beijing E-Town has gathered over 90 percent of the top information technology enterprises in the country, covering a complete industrial chain from upstream to downstream, including CPU, operating systems, databases, servers, complete machine terminals, supercomputing, network security services, application software, and more. Beijing E-Town is accelerating the construction of Beijing's data infrastructure pilot zone.
