Approved by the State Council, the 2025 ZGC Forum Annual Conference will be held in Beijing from March 27 to 31. It is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality.

The ZGC Forum is a state-level platform of China for global innovation exchanges and partnerships. Founded in 2007 with the permanent theme of “Innovation and Development,” it aims to promote the sharing of global innovative ideas and development philosophies among countries, discuss cutting-edge technologies and future industrial development trends, deliberate on global innovation rules and innovation governance, and jointly promote science and technology to better benefit people of all countries.

With the theme of “New Productive Forces and Global Science and Technology Cooperation,” the 2025 ZGC Forum Annual Conference consists of five sections: forum meetings, technology trade fair, achievements release, frontier competitions, and supporting events. It will hold the Opening Ceremony and Plenary Session, about 60 parallel forums, the ZGC International Technology Trade Fair, the Zhongguancun International Advanced Technology Competition, and special sessions for major achievements release, in addition to supporting events such as cultural exchanges, science popularization, and project roadshows. Outside the Annual Conference period, a series of regular activities throughout the year will be held.
