On July 6, the Beijing Robot Industrial Park (Changping) officially opened. The park is located in Shahe Town of Changping District.

As the north hub of the "One in the South, One in the North" layout of Beijing's robotics industry, this park is Beijing's first specialized, customized robotics industrial zone. It focuses on the development of the entire robotics industry chain by establishing high-quality industrial facilities, innovative service platforms, and a comprehensive industrial ecosystem. It is committed to building a hub for innovation and R&D in the robotics industry and serves as a model for the commercialization of the industry's R&D outcomes.

The park is committed to the core robotics sectors, specifically targeting enterprises in key areas such as humanoid intelligent robots and core components. It is building a development model comprising "physical spaces, professional services and an industrial ecosystem". By integrating all segments including R&D, testing, mass production, and commercialization for markets, the park is expected to deliver one-stop professional services to enterprises throughout their entire lifecycles.

Customized professional industrial spaces have been developed to meet the specific R&D, testing, and production needs of the robotics enterprises. The buildings feature high-standard, versatile factory designs, with single-floor areas up to 3,000 square meters, ceiling heights up to 6 meters, a load-bearing capacity of 2 metric tons per square meter, and an exceptionally wide column spacing of 8.4 meters. They are well equipped to accommodate the operational requirements of both heavy-duty production equipment and precision testing instruments.

The park features a spatial layout with a comprehensive range of functions, encompassing diverse scenarios—including office spaces, production facilities, exhibition areas, and experiential zones—enabling it to perfectly meet the development needs of enterprises of various sizes and at different stages of growth. At the same time, supporting amenities such as cafeterias and commuter shuttle buses are continuously being improved to help employees in terms of both work and personal lives. Notably, the park has also implemented Changping's first unmanned smart park management system, which incorporates functions such as intelligent security, automated cleaning, and smart guided tours. Through this digital and intelligent operational model, service quality and management efficiency can be enhanced here.

The first phase of the park, now in operation, has a total floor area of 65,000 square meters. It has already attracted 13 enterprises, covering the entire industry chain from upstream core components, midstream whole-machine manufacturing, to downstream technical services. Linkerbot's consumer-grade dexterous hand intelligent production line has been successfully established. Linkhou's intelligent manufacturing platform for general-purpose robot core components and whole-machine pilot tests, the CCID National Robot Test and Assessment Center's public service platform, the Tsinghua Intelligent Testing Platform, and a number of other key public service platforms have also moved in. The park's intended occupancy rate already exceeds 60 percent, with industrial agglomeration effects beginning to emerge.
