The 28th China Beijing International High-tech Expo themed Science Leading Innovation and Sharing the Future, was held in Beijing recently, gathering more than 800 domestic and foreign exhibitors and institutions. At this grand sci-tech event, the strength of Beijing E-Town stood out prominently. In addition to the themed pavilion of Beijing E-Town with the theme of Join Hands for a Shared Future, Industrial Chains Open a New Chapter, local enterprises, including the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics, Union Strong, AstraZeneca, Sanofi and JD Cloud showcased their pioneering achievements and star products across various exhibition areas.

Embodied Intelligence: E-Town Robots Demonstrate Distinct Capabilities

Entering the exhibition area of the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics, Embodied Tien Kung 3.0 provided welcome and guidance services, Tianyi demonstrated fruit sorting operations on site, and Embodied Tien Kung Ultra, which just completed the Beijing E-Town Humanoid Robot Half-Marathon, attracted crowds of visitors to stop and watch. According to on-site staff, the three self-developed robots exhibited by the center cover tracks of general humanoid robots, high-performance motion robots, and industrial manufacturing robots, fully demonstrating the enterprise's technological accumulation in three core fields, including motion control algorithms, embodied intelligence, and industrial application implementation.

Behind the distinctive strengths of the three robots lies HuiSi KaiWu, a self-developed general embodied intelligence platform by the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics. Serving as a general intelligent brain, the platform realizes full-link integration of perception, decision-making, and execution. It enables robots to perceive the surrounding environment clearly, understand task logic rationally, and perform complex physical operations flexibly, achieving all-around improvement in key capabilities such as dynamic balance, environmental adaptation, and multimodal interaction.

E-Town robots can also be seen everywhere across the expo venue. Beijing Ruihong Embodied Intelligence Robot Technology Co., Ltd. displayed AIYA companion robot. Its cute appearance, similar to trendy collectible figures, drew crowds for an interactive experience. The robot can grow together with users through long-term interaction and provide personalized emotional companionship. Beijing High Torque Technology Co., Ltd. showcased the Mini Pi Plus humanoid robot, which dynamically demonstrated football playing on a simulated court and previously participated in the Beijing E-Town Humanoid Robot Half Marathon. Robo X2, an all-around day coffee and night cocktail robot, exhibited by Robo Space (Beijing) Technology Service Co., Ltd., can automatically make cocktails, coffee, milk tea, fruit tea, and ice cream through collaborative operation of multiple mechanical arms, and is widely applicable to cultural tourism venues, cultural and art museums, urban landmarks, and large commercial complexes. Tuling Jiuge presented a humanoid robot in a wedding dress performing live dances. Sun Bo, founder of the enterprise, stated that this is the same robot that participated in the Beijing E-Town Humanoid Robot Half-Marathon. The company mainly conducts secondary development of motion control based on mature robot bodies in the industry, and its self-developed Tuling Jiuge large model can transfer real human movements to robots, promoting better industrial application and implementation of robotic technologies.

Innovative Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices: AI Doctors Deliver Accurate Professional Support

At the booth of Union Strong, an AI catheter shaping robot was on display. "This is an achievement jointly developed with Huashan Hospital and Xuanwu Hospital. From algorithms to hardware, it is completely originally researched, developed, and manufactured in China," introduced on-site staff. The robot operates with clear and precise logic. Firstly, its built-in intelligent brain adopts patented AI algorithms to conduct 3D vascular reconstruction and automatic measurement on patient imaging data, generating standardized and personalized catheter shaping solutions with one click and simulating the application of interventional consumables in advance. Subsequently, its micro-finger and micro-delivery systems complete fully automated catheter shaping operations with sub-millimeter precision. Compared with traditional manual shaping, robotic shaping greatly improves the success rate of surgeries, reduces surgical complications, increases the one-time cure rate, and delivers better treatment outcomes for patients.

In addition, multinational enterprises, including AstraZeneca and Sanofi, exhibited innovative drugs in fields such as oncology and respiratory medicine. This year, the Harbour Biomed-AstraZeneca Innovation Laboratory was officially put into operation in Beijing E-Town. The laboratory focuses on the early research and development of new-generation multispecific antibody therapies, integrating Harbour Biomed's fully human antibody technology platform with AstraZeneca's expertise in disease biology, clinical development and AI drug design to accelerate the process from drug discovery to optimization. Meanwhile, the construction of Sanofi's insulin API project has started in Beijing E-Town, with partial completion of key buildings expected within the year.

Diversified Development: AI Assistants and New Materials Make Collective Appearance

The innovation layout of Beijing E-Town enterprises extends far beyond the above fields, demonstrating solid strength in more sectors.

Through large screens and exhibition boards, JD Cloud comprehensively displayed innovative achievements including AI platforms and tools, JoyAI Large Model and JD Cloud Intelligent Computing. Among them, JD Cloud JoyClaw is committed to creating a user-centric AI personal assistant. Built on the brand-new OpenClaw underlying architecture, it incorporates innovative functions such as dream mechanism and knowledge base access, enabling the AI assistant to become increasingly intelligent with continuous use.

Sycoretec CAS Co., Ltd. signed a settlement agreement to settle in Beijing E-Town during the High-tech Expo, and brought its self-developed lightweight and warm thermal management new material SYCORE-TEX to the exhibition. At present, the third-generation topological flexible gel launched by the enterprise features ultra-low thermal conductivity and ultra-soft elasticity. With a thickness of only 1 to 2 millimeters, its thermal insulation performance is comparable to traditional thermal insulation materials of 5 to 10 millimeters, meeting the thermal insulation demands of textile and apparel, cold chain logistics, and other products.

Furthermore, VELOBOTICS exhibited its Woxiaobai cleaning robot, INCHTEK displayed products such as central network controllers and vehicle-mounted security gateways, and E-TOWN TECHNOLOGY &INNOVATION demonstrated technological service capabilities through videos and exhibition boards.

From embodied intelligence to innovative pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and from AI technology to new materials, enterprises in Beijing E-Town have fully displayed the regional depth of innovation and industrial breadth. The scientific and technological achievements of Beijing E-Town have gained wider exposure on the stage of the Beijing High-tech Expo.
