Beijing ESWIN Technology Co., Ltd. (ESWIN), a company based in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA, also known as Beijing E-Town), was listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Oct. 9, becoming the first RISC-V company listed in Hong Kong. The listing marks the second successful IPO by a Beijing E-Town company on the Hong Kong market following the debut of Direct Drive Tech Ltd. and brings the total number of listed companies in Beijing E-Town to 66, ranking among the highest in Beijing.
ESWIN issued approximately 1.57 billion H shares globally at an offering price of HKD 1.55 per share, raising about HKD 2.5 billion. The proceeds will be mainly used for the iterative development of chip products, upgrading the RISAA (RISC-V + AI) ecosystem technology platform, potential strategic acquisitions, expansion of marketing networks, and further development of the RISC-V (Reduced Instruction Set Computer–V) ecosystem. The funding is expected to support product expansion, technological advancement, and industry collaboration.
As artificial intelligence applications continue to expand from cloud-based computing toward edge inference and agentic AI, the RISC-V-based chip market is entering a period of accelerated growth. ESWIN has adopted a "RISC-V + AI" technology strategy and developed a full-stack proprietary technology platform, with products covering chips and system solutions for human-machine interaction, multimedia processing, interconnection, and computing. Its solutions serve applications including consumer electronics, automotive electronics, robotics and industrial control.
As of March 31, 2026, ESWIN had developed more than 620 intellectual property (IP) modules and over 20 series of RISC-V processor cores, filed more than 1,740 patent applications, launched over 150 hardware-software integrated products, and served 220 customers worldwide. The company recorded steady revenue growth from 2023 to 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of approximately 17.8%. In the first quarter of 2026, it reported revenue of CNY 494 million (approximately USD 68.9 million), up 18.4% year on year.
The company said the Hong Kong listing represents an important milestone and a new stage of development. ESWIN plans to continue advancing its chip technologies in human-machine interaction, multimedia processing, interconnection and computing, while strengthening its full-stack research and development capabilities. It will also work with industry partners to build an open and collaborative RISC-V ecosystem and explore new opportunities created by the rapid expansion of AI computing demand.
The listing reflects the growing momentum of Beijing E-Town's capital market activities. Since the beginning of this year, eight companies from the area have completed listings across different capital markets. Among them, Haizhi Technology became Hong Kong's first listed AI "hallucination reduction" company; Star Sports Medicine Co., Ltd. became Hong Kong's first listed domestic sports medicine company; SMI Logistics became the first transportation and logistics company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Main Board after the board reform; Crealights became Hong Kong's first listed AI silicon photonics interconnect company; Direct Drive Tech became Hong Kong's first listed direct-drive technology company; and ESWIN became Hong Kong's first listed RISC-V company.
The growing number of high-value companies entering capital markets reflects Beijing E-Town's long-term efforts to cultivate listed enterprises and improve its innovation ecosystem. Positioned as a key hub for advanced industries in Beijing, Beijing E-Town has established a full-lifecycle service system for companies seeking public listings, covering key sectors such as next-generation information technology, biotechnology, and healthcare.
The support system provides assistance ranging from policy support and financing connections at early stages to compliance guidance and resource matching during growth periods, and tailored services during the IPO preparation phase. These efforts aim to help innovative companies overcome barriers in accessing capital markets and create a supportive environment for long-term growth.
Beijing E-Town has established a tiered pipeline for listed company development, covering companies at different stages from reserve, cultivation, and application preparation to successful listing. More than 700 companies have been included in its pipeline of potential listed enterprises, with nearly 50 entering key stages of IPO preparation.
ESWIN's listing further strengthens Beijing E-Town's presence in the integrated circuit sector and adds new momentum to the integration of innovation, industrial development and capital resources. Going forward, Beijing E-Town will continue enhancing listing services based on companies' needs, support more innovation-driven enterprises with core competitiveness in accessing multi-level capital markets, and further strengthen its listed company ecosystem.
