DBAR 2023 | Digital Technology Facilitates Sustainable Development

The “Digital Belt and Road Program” (DBAR) was launched in May 2016 and initiated by Chinese scientists with the aim to promote the application of digital technology, with a particular focus on big Earth Data, towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals in the Belt and Road Countries by promoting and enabling sharing of data, technology, and knowledge, to facilitate the decision-making process in service of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and the implementation of Global Development Initiative.

The International Digital Belt and Road Conference is the annual academic conference for scientists, engineers, managers, and experts from around the world for a multi-stakeholder engagement to discuss ideas on improving scientific partnerships and networking towards collaborative and collective efforts for global and regional sustainable development. The year 2023 marks the 10th year for the Belt and Road Initiative, this event will vitalize the new opportunities and interpret the challenges for DBAR supporting the Global Development Initiative and the Belt and Road Initiative in order to make the best of DBAR’s advantage in the next Phase.

We sincerely hope all of our colleagues and friends within the DBAR community would take DBAR 2023 on the schedule. It would also be very appreciated and welcomed if you could give valuable suggestions on the session topics and side events.
