ABOUT Okubo LAB

We are a new group at the Chinese Institute for Brain Research (CIBR), Beijing, which focuses on using modern data science and machine learning tools on neuroscience research. We collaborate with various labs within CIBR to develop models and analysis pipelines to accelerate neuroscience research. We are looking for a lab manager who can handle logistic support of our research activities.

POSITION DETAILS

Lab manager

Tasks include equipment purchase, processing reimbursement, translating Chinese documents into English, scheduling meetings, organizing collaborations, keeping track of computational resources (in coordination with the CIBR HPC core) etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English (English is the primary language used at CIBR);

2. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work harmoniously with other researchers and staff;

3. Excellent organization skills;

4. BA/BS or equivalent experience and training;

5. Familiarity with computers (both hardware and software), as most of our work is computational.
